Open it on your phone. One hand. It's built for a truck at 4:50am.

What it is

Every hunting app tells you the rut is the second week of November and sells you a moon phase. Neither one is right.

This carries the actual county-level breeding records. In Alabama, Baldwin County runs late January into February and Calhoun County runs late November — ten weeks apart, same state. And it weights the moon at zero, because four universities put GPS collars on deer and found it does essentially nothing.

You've watched your country for years. I read the state's data off a map. If we disagree, you might be right and I might have read it wrong — and I'd rather hear that now than after it's public.

Tell me: your county, what it said, and what you actually see.

Then, about five minutes

  1. Tap "how we got here" — does the math add up in a way you can follow? Anything you don't believe?
  2. Tap the moon. Would you send that to somebody, or does it come across as arrogant?
  3. Open the Map tab. Drop a stand, drag the dial to set which way you face. Do the map tiles actually load? That's the one thing I couldn't test.
  4. Scroll to the bottom of every screen. Anything cut off, unreachable, or hiding under the bottom bar?

Already known — don't waste your time on these

  • Weather numbers are typed in by hand for now. Live forecast is coming.
  • Every stand on a property shares one hillside's slope, so thermal times are approximate. It says so on screen.
  • The Learn tab is thin — eight lessons written of thirty-four.
  • The Log tab is a placeholder.

What to send back

Don't be polite. Tell me where it lied to you, where it confused you, and where it wasted your time. Screenshots of anything broken. A voice memo is better than typing.
