They do one job each. The Forge builds the whole arrow, tunes the bow, and solves the shot. The first 100 members keep $36/yr forever — after seat 100, membership is $120/yr.

FAQ

Is there a free version?
Yes — the free tier is genuinely free forever and never asks for a card. Build arrows, run the spine calculator, use the recommender, and measure your real arrow speed with the phone chronograph as long as you like. Membership bills when you subscribe, and you can cancel anytime.
Wait — the phone chronograph is free?
It is. Your phone's microphone hears the shot and the impact at a known distance and back-solves launch speed, and every correction it applies is shown on screen. You can also import Garmin or LabRadar readings, or type numbers in by hand. We don't charge for it, and an earlier version of this page wrongly said we did.
What's the Founding Flock deal, exactly?
The first 100 members pay $36/yr, and that price is locked for as long as you stay subscribed. After seat 100 fills, membership is $120/yr. Founding members never get a price increase, and every new tool we ship is included.
Why is the founding price so low?
On purpose. $36/yr is what the single-purpose calculator apps charge, so you can run The Forge next to whatever you're using now without thinking twice — and let a season of results decide. We'd rather earn the switch than argue for it.
Does the membership gate features by skill level?
No — but the view setting hides tabs, and we'd rather tell you than let you find out. Membership never depends on experience: every member gets every tool. Separately, the Beginner / Standard / Expert control changes which tabs appear at all. Sight Tape, Spine, Recommender, Physics, Database and Compete need Standard or higher; Shot Solver needs Expert. That's a clutter control, not a paywall, and you can change it any time. If a tool you expected is missing, raise your view level first.
Do you have a discount code?
We partner with a small number of shops and teams. If one of them shared a code with you, enter it at checkout for 20% off. Active-duty military, veterans, and law enforcement: see the note above — you get 50% off, always.
What if I cancel?
Your membership stays active through the end of the billing period you've already paid for. No partial refunds; no early cutoff. After expiration you drop to the free tier and keep access to your saved builds. (Founding members: cancelling gives up the locked $36 seat.)
Why one membership instead of tiers?
Because picking a tier forces you to guess which tools you'll need before you've used them. One price, whole bench. Free stays free so every archer can use the basics; membership is for when you want the workshop.
