Hoyt Carbon RX-10 Mod Chart — All 21 Draw Lengths

Hoyt publishes the Carbon RX-10 draw length chart openly, and it is the thing everybody is actually looking for when they search “RX-10 mod chart”. Here it is, all 21 rows, transcribed from Hoyt's own chart on 10 September 2026.

Short version: the RX-10 runs the HBX Gen 4 cam, one base cam size, and covers 25 inches to 30 inches in quarter-inch steps. Five modules — 1 through 5 — and eleven module positions, written as A through K for the whole-and-half inches and lowercase a through j for the quarter steps. Each module covers a one-inch span in four quarter-inch positions.

How to read it

Two things trip people up.

The case matters. Position A and position a are different holes, a quarter of an inch apart. Uppercase letters are the whole and half-inch settings, lowercase are the quarters between them. Read your existing setting off the module before you change anything, and read the case.

Mod number and position are two separate things. The mod is a physical part — you have to have the right one. The position is where that mod bolts on. Going from 29" to 28" means both a different mod (4 → 3) and a different position (C → E). Going from 29" to 28.5" is the same mod, one position over. If you are buying mods, count how many one-inch spans you are crossing, not how many quarter inches.

There is no bow press in this. RX-10 module changes are bolts, not limbs. Back the screws off, reseat at the new position, torque to Hoyt's spec, then re-check your draw length on a bow scale rather than trusting the letter.

What changing draw length does to your arrow

This is the part the mod chart cannot tell you, and it is the reason this page exists on an arrow site rather than a bow site.

Draw length is one of the four inputs that decides your spine, and it is not a small one. Moving an inch is worth roughly 3.5 lb of effective draw weight in spine terms, which is about a third of a spine class. Two inches will push you across a band. It also changes your arrow length if you re-cut, which is worth another 3.5 lb per inch, in the same direction — so a genuine short-draw setup can end up a full class off what the sticker weight suggests.

And every sight mark moves. A draw-length change alters your anchor, your speed and your peep height at once; the tape you printed last month is a tape for a bow you no longer own.

No. The module bolts to the cam; you do not need to come off the string. Use Hoyt's torque spec and verify the resulting draw length on a scale rather than assuming the letter is honest.

Every ARC mod chart circulating online is a scan of a document stamped “authorized Mathews archery retailers only — confidential information”, and we will not reprint those.
